Pamoja is uniquely positioned to support Kenya's public services by advancing the goals of the Mental Health (Amendment) Act 2022 and the National Mental Health Policy (2020–2030).

We aim to train the army, police and other first responders with mental health expertise to respond confidently to mental health crises in the community.

Our Contributions

Capacity Building

We equip frontline public service workers with evidence-based skills in mental health awareness, trauma-informed practice, and safeguarding.

Wellbeing & Resilience

Through targeted workshops and peer-support frameworks, we strengthen resilience within public institutions.

Safeguarding in Institutions

We help public bodies implement inclusive safeguarding policies, ensuring protection for vulnerable groups.

Culturally Sensitive Interventions

Our approach honours Kenya's diversity, ensuring interventions are relevant to the social and cultural realities.

"Pamoja partners with Kenya's public service to strengthen mental health resilience, protect staff wellbeing, and embed safeguarding as a cornerstone of effective governance."

By aligning with national policies and the Mental Health Act 2022, Pamoja provides tailored training and support that empowers public servants to deliver with compassion, resilience, and accountability — ensuring a healthier workforce, stronger institutions, and a safer Kenya for all.
